While at the box or over the phone or email, speak with our staff about signing you up for our next Fundamentals course and/or for the membership you’d like to sign up for.
Before Joining – Fundamentals
Fundamentals is required before signing your membership to attend CrossFit classes.
Our Fundamentals course is a required on ramp program for those with little to no experience with the movements used in CrossFit. This course focuses on the 9 Fundamental movements which form the basis of CrossFit’s programs.
Our Fundamentals course is required before using your membership to attend CrossFit classes. This six-day course consists of six small group sessions. The small group classes are conducted as needed to fit everyones schedule. All six classes must be attended if possible, as each session builds on the previous session. Our Fundamentals course is designed to teach you the mechanics of the movements before entering a class to ensure your safety and to allow our coaches some time to address any flexibility, fitness level, or injury concerns you may have. In addition, Fundamentals helps acclimate you to the gym, staff and CrossFit as a whole to make sure you have the most fun and get the best results possible!
After you complete our Fundamentals course you are able to attend any CrossFit class at any time. Get started today and come play!
Our CrossFit Kids program is run every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. There are two classes offered: 4 p.m. & 4:30 p.m.. Classes will be 30-45 minutes and will be run by Coach Brenda. The first class offered at 4 p.m. is for ages 4-8 years old. The second class offered at 4:30 p.m. is for ages 8-15 years old. There is no CrossFit Kids Fundamentals class as this is where all the kids begin.
What is CrossFit Kids?
In a nutshell it’s teaching your kids how to be fit, healthy and active in a fun, supervised community setting. CrossFit Kids isn’t just recess, it’s a supervised program to teach your kids functional movement using constantly varied exercises. CrossFit kids can be used to supplement your child’s other extra curricular athletic activities or in place of it, as CrossFit is it’s own sport!
